Looking For An Older Lesbian Online Has Never Been This Much Fun!

I was recently asked to do a magazine article about internet dating with a view to looking at how more mature and older people have adapted to using internet dating - if they have adapted at all! They chose me because it had gotten around the office that I had done some internet dating relatively recently, I guess. What I found out is that there is a network of singles sites out there that are dedicated to older singles, and the most interesting site that I probably found out of all these was the one that was aimed at helping gay women in dating older lesbians online. I had heard that there were dating sites around that were aimed at helping single lesbians in dating older women but I had never actually seen them with my own eyes. Mind you, why would I? I'm not a gay woman!

What was interesting to me about this site is the different kind of women that I saw on this site that were looking to date an older lesbian. It wasn't a site that just had older female lesbians on board looking for each other - what was fascinating to me was the fact that there were women of all different ages on this site. I believe the premise was that it was a dating service that was both for senior lesbians and for those looking for senior lesbians. After all, I think it is pretty obvious that not all older lesbians are just looking for women of the same age! Plus, there is the very great possibility that there are lots of younger women out there that would be looking for a lesbian seniors dating service such as this.

So you get this really interesting mixture of people on this site, far more so than I think many people would understand, actually. In fact, I think there are just as many younger / older couples being formed on this site as there are just older lesbian relationships being put together. We all of our particular preferences when it comes to a partner and many of us have specifics when it comes to their age. In that regard, this site was pretty awesome. On top of all that, it was interesting that it was service that was for single UK lesbians only, so I think everyone on board here must have been more confident about actually meeting their dream partner than they would on any other dating site. I quite enjoyed researching that article, it must be said!
