Punk Is Not Dead, But Only On The Internet
My punk life was definitely part of my personal history. Period when I was crazy about Sex Pistols and Sid Vicious is over, the things were changed a lot but still I like to remember of crazy concerts, lot of fun, unusual and colorful hairstyles. That was life definitely. Unfortunately all that passed away and I got a steady job in one international company. Marriage followed, and three kids arrived very soon. I may admit I changed my life completely.
After some furious task we had in the company I had to spend one night more in a hotel. The job was done so I could relieve. One night free, with no things to do sound interesting but the only one thing I wanted was to leave Chicago as soon as possible and join to my family. But my job is very stressful so it was not so easy to sleep and I did not want to go out. The internet was chosen to be my late night friend. I tried to find something interesting so I dug my history a bit. I got very nice memories about my youth and suddenly I discovered one completely weird place, Punk Chat Canada.
The night passed very quickly since I had chat and conversation with many of them there. Mostly people were surprised that one former punk did not know for the last punk oasis, online one. But simply my life moved me in completely different direction and unfortunately I gave up with my old habits. Soon as I got home I was proud I recovered a part of my previous life. I found many of my punk photos and I decided to share them with my friends. I send some of them to my punk chat mates.
Definitely I may admit punk is not dead at all. Punk chatroom is overcrowded every single evening. People are just trying to refresh their memories on their youth and earlier period of their lives. I am one of them. I take part in chat and conversation every single night. I am trying to find some of my friends who were travelling with me and visiting some punk concerts or some of them who were colored their hair same as I did.
