Reclaim the web for the punks

You’ll hear a lot of people say that punk is dead. Let me give you a clear insight into that: punk was never dead and it won’t be as long as there is spirit in the young people. I have been a punk chick for years and I know it from my experience. We are young and we are many and we are rocking as loud as the Sex Pistols did when the whole thing only started. And take a note of this: we are not just a bunch of kids screaming at gigs, we know better than that. Being a punk is a way of life, and it carries a lot of activism in it, which is why our punk chat South Africa sites are so crowded these days.

When you discuss things like we do, you need good channels of communication and the internet is the best way to do that. Those who think we only dress up as punks can be quite disappointed when they take a look at punk chatroom sites and find young, intelligent people who are discussing politics, philosophy and sociology. We are interested in the functioning of the society because we are wiling to change it for the better. The looks are just one part of the whole story and it is important to be aware of that. The ideals of the punk movement are something much higher: freedom of speech, liberation from oppression and things like that. Anarchy is in our blood and we want to spread the word of it through the web.

Every punk chat website out there is more than just a display of people with spiky hair and steel toe shoes. If you are truly a punk and you want to catch up with the stuff that is going on in the world you should connect and join the fight for the free world. United against prejudice, evil, oppression and lies, we meet each other and show the world that it can be a better place. The music is just one of the things that connect us and you are going to see that for yourself as soon as you open your eyes to the world and join us, whether online or in the real world. Punks everywhere will be happy to welcome you with open arms.
